Free Spectator Admission at Cordova International Raceway

What's hotter than racing in July? Getting to watch that racing for FREE! CIR is excited to announce a FREE Spectator Admission day on Saturday, July 25th at the historic Cordova strip as a thank-you to all our loyal customers. "We want to say thanks to all our loyal race fans for supporting us – especially this year with all the weather-related problems we've had," said General Manager, Bobbi Jo Cox. "It's also a great way to bring some new people out to the track who've maybe never been out before. So help spread the word and grab a friend, or ten, since it's free and help make some new fans who will love racing as much as we do!"

Racing for the weekend of July 24-26 includes a Friday Fun Night with test n tune and open racing for anyone from 5:30-10p. Then on Saturday, it's a Fast Cash Weekend Points Race #6 where local racers compete in everything from street cars to dragsters for bonus cash and points, along with the 200+ mph Chassis Concepts & West Racing Heads Top Sportsman/Top Dragster Quick Series Race. In addition, fans will get to see muscle cars how they used to be with the Victory Nostalgia Super Stock group. The NSS group all about 1959-69 period-correct Super Stock cars with big burnouts and some great wheelstands. Sunday will be the conclusion to the Fast Cash Weekend with Points Race #7, Victory NSS and a rescheduled Quick Series race. For more information on the rescheduled Quick Series race, Click Here.

In addition to all the great racing, Saturday's FREE Spectator admission comes with some great perks! Parents can take advantage of the playground area for their kids, along with the pavilion picnic area and full concession stand. All kids 12 and under will receive a free ice cream cone from the CIR concession stand and along with special merchandise discounts for everyone at the CIR Novelty Stand. As always, your admission comes with free access to the pits and free parking. At the conclusion of Saturday's racing, local racer Lacey Rosenberry will perform with her band, Frank F. Sidney's Western Bandit Vounteers, at the Jenne Koehler Pavillion. For more information on the band, visit www.franksvolunteers.com.
