Victory Nostalgia Super Stock Series Invades Cordova

Cordova International Raceway welcomes the return of the Victory NSS Points Series to the 62nd Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts World Series of Drag Racing.

Race fans - when you walk down the main road at CIR behind registration, you will be treated to a unique site of the largest group of Nostalgia Super Stock cars ever at the World Series! These cars represent the golden era of Big Block Muscle Cars from the Big Three Automakers (1959 – 1969), when each car company was constantly battling to be number one on both the streets and the strips.

“The World Series is the most significant race in the Midwest – period,” said Chris Schneider, Series Director for Victory NSS Association. “The World Series and Victory NSS work very well together.”  Expect a rather large turnout for Victory NSS as their group of around 50 will be coming from eight different states (as far out as Utah). Victory NSS members will be vying for the World Series Victory NSS crown presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts along with accumulating points for the Victory NSS World Crown to be presented at the end of the year.
