Midnight Mayhem 2015 Finale

The final Midnight Mayhem of the year raced through Cordova International Raceway last Friday night to wrap up a season of Mayhem.The night started with a Friday Night Fun Night which had Dan Loussaert of Eldridge, IA take the win in Gamblers with an ET of 10.873 and 104.32 MPH to runner up Steve Bealer from Colona, IL came in with 11.634 ET and 110.33 MPH. The trophy class win went to Wayne Speer out of Geneseo, IL in the 1984 Mercury with an ET of 12.397 and 88.10 MPH against runner up Christopher Peterson out of Port Byron, IL in the 1956 Chevy who came in at 14.595 ET and 85.94 MPH.

Later that night, the Midnight Mayhem Import Shoot Out had Andy Turpen from West Peoria, IL take the win in the 2009 Nissan GTR with an ET of 9.788 and 144.61 MPH over Kurt Stuart out of Mendota, IL who took runner up in the 1991 Eagle Talon with 11.202 ET and 126.60 MPH. The Domestic Shoot Out brought out the Mayhem as well, with the win going to Andy Smith from Burlington, IA in the 1989 Ford with an ET of 9.381 and 146.27 MPH against runner up Zach Smith out of Dallas City, IL in the 1986 S-10 had and ET of 9.784 and 141.79 MPH.
Finally, the Diesel Truck Shoot Out brought Mayhem to the table with Nick Hillyer out of Bloomington, IL taking the win with 14.877 and 96.03 MPH versus runner up Cole Aenal from Hampton, IL who had a 15.800 ET and 87.32 MPH.

Midnight Mayhem is not complete without a Flag Girl and Burn-Out Contest with Nikki K. wowing the crowd and taking the title of top Flag Girl for the September 4th contest and Dalton Snyder out of Kewanee, IL smoking his tires for the close win in the Burn Out Contest.
