Halloweird XX in the Books
Mother Nature did not stop racing action at CIR last Saturday as racing action
and fun was in full speed (albeit limited to 1/8 mile due to wind). There were quite a few activities for the race fans and kids in the Interstate Batteries Pit Café. From crafts to trick or treating for the kids to an all-ages Halloween costume contest, there was plenty to experience! Local racer Mike Clark's daughter, Ruby, was one the winning entries in the costume contest with her cowgirl costume. "My kids love Halloweird and have been looking forward to it all week. We were thinking the weather would cancel the event but my daughters (Ruby and Marlea) were excited when I told them that everything was still on. My daughters love going to Cordova," said Clark.
