Reservations Now Being Taken for Annual Racer’s Banquet

Make plans now to join us for the annual Cordova International Raceway Racer’s Awards Banquet! Help us celebrate the 2015 accomplishments of all of our racers and track champions. This year’s banquet will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at The Rock Reception Facility (302 First Street) in Coal Valley, Illinois. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be held at the door the night of the event. You can purchase tickets by calling our office at 309-654-2110 or by mailing the ticket order form to: CIR, PO Box 442, Cordova, IL 61242. Adult ticket prices are $25, Kids (8-16) are $10, and Kids (0-7) are free. All ticket orders must be received by Monday, January 25^th!

The schedule for the evening includes:

3:45pm – Doors Open

4:00pm – Social Hour w/ Cash Bar

5:00pm – Grand Buffet Dinner

6:00pm – Awards Presentation and Special Recognitions

10:00pm – Conclude the Festivities

After the banquet festivities are over, make sure to stop by Crabby’s Bar and Grill for more social time! Crabby’s is located just a few blocks from the reception facility. After all the fun, if you don’t wish to drive home, special room rates are available at two, local hotels.

-        The Holiday Inn Express – Moline Airport (a 2015 CIR Host Hotel) has rooms available for $99/night when you mention Cordova International Raceway. This newly constructed hotel offers double queen, single king and suite rooms. There is also a free continental breakfast each morning. The hotel is approximately a four minute drive from The Rock Reception Facility. Their phone number is 309-517-6400.

-        Jumer’s Hotel and Casino also is offering discounted room rates to CIR racers who call and ask for a room in the block of Cordova International Raceway rooms. Racers must call 309-756-4600 before January 22 to obtain a room at the discounted $139/night room rate. The casino & hotel is approximately a 15 minute drive from The Rock Reception Facility.
