Cordova International Raceway Appoints Interim General Manager
JUPITER, Florida (January 29, 2016) - IRG Sports + Entertainment™ (IRGSE), proud portfolio company of TPG, announced today the placement of an interim general manager at Cordova International Raceway in preparation for the 2016 season.
Effective immediately, Mr. Dan Driscoll, has been appointed the interim general manager of the historic ¼-mile drag 
strip located in Cordova, Illinois until the position can be filled permanently.
"With his industry experience at race tracks and his long-standing relationship with the IRGSE organization, Mr. Driscoll was a natural choice to assist us in the interim," Chris Lencheski vice chairman of the board and CEO with IRGSE, said. "We know the track will be in good hands with him at the helm until a Search Committee locates a permanent general manager."
Driscoll, a 40+ year veteran of the motorsports industry, was responsible for overseeing the advertising sales for the International Hot Rod Association's (IHRA) Drag Review Magazine for the past three years. Prior to joining the IHRA, he owned and operated Cedar Falls Raceway in Cedar Falls, Iowa for seven years. Mr. Driscoll also served in various roles at Cordova International Raceway, Norwalk Dragway, Eddyville Raceway and Byron Dragway since the late '60's.

Cordova International Raceway is a renowned motorsports facility located along the Mississippi River in Cordova, Illinois. The IRGSE-owned track was one of the first purpose-built drag strips in the country and currently hosts 50+ national and weekly events throughout the season.
