Spook-tacular Racing Planned for Halloweird XIX

 With beautiful weather on tap for this Saturday, Halloweird XIX looks to be the warmest ones in recent memory.  Weather forecasters are calling for a high of 70, so make your plans to race now!  Gates will open at 10am Saturday with time runs underway at 11am.  Test n Tune, Trophy and a Gamblers race will all be contested, along with a special Junior Dragster All Run Race where the winner receives a 4 foot trophy.

 In addition to the great racing, there will be a huge Halloween party and trick-or-treating for kids in the Interstate Batteries Café starting at 11:30.  There will be supervised activities and crafts with the option to do a daytime walk-through of the haunted house, The Asylum of Mad Dreams, on the spectator side of the track.  Everyone (racers, spectators and kids!) is encouraged to come dressed in your best Halloween costume and participate in our Costume Contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and participant medals for everyone!  Note to Racers - kids will be going from trailer to trailer trick-or-treating, so please let the front gate know if you bring candy to pass out so they can map out where to go!

With only a few weekends of racing left (Saturday, November 1^st and 8^th), we hope to see you again before the 2014 season ends!
