Weather Permitting – Saturday, Nov 1^st Final Race Day of 2014

The end of the 2014 racing season at Cordova Dragway Park is quickly approaching.  Based on current weather forecasts, this Saturday, November 1st looks to be a high of 50 degrees and sunny and possibly the last nice Saturday “race day” weather-wise for the rest of the year.  “We looked at a lot of different weather sites to look ahead to this weekend and next weekend and it just doesn’t look promising after this Saturday,” said Bobbi Jo Cox, Business Operations Manager, “so we decided to make November 1st the final race day for 2014.  We want people to be able to plan ahead to make this final race and not be putting off coming out thinking they’d get to race on November 8.”

Gates will open for the final race day of 2014 on November 1^st at 11:30am with racing from noon to 4pm.  There will be open Test n Tune, Trophy and a Gambler’s race.  Adult spectators are $8 and kids are $3, as well.  For updates on the weekend, check out the “This Week” link on our website or our Facebook page.  Plan to come out and enjoy one final race day in 2014!
