Cordova International Raceway's New Staff

As announced yesterday, the newly acquired Cordova International Raceway is up and running and now working towards a great 2015 season! While Cordova Dragway Park has a new name, the faces that will continue to run the historic track will not be new to local racers. Long-time Cordova employees have taken new roles within the company's operations.

IRG has named Bobbi Jo Cox as the new General Manager for CIR. Cox has 16 years of experience at the facility, serving in many roles over that period. She will take over the day to day operations from Scott and Laura Gardner, as they both have transitioned to new roles within the IRG family of companies.

Also coming on board for CIR will be long-time Cordova Dragway employee Brenda Stuart. Stuart has worked in many capacities at CDP since 2001. She has accepted the role as Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Cordova International Raceway.

"Cordova International Raceway is well known for its popular World Series of Drag Racing which celebrated its 61st year in August 2014. We are pleased to have such a highly regarded and successful venue as part of our family of race tracks," noted IRG CEO Jason Rittenberry, CFE.
