Projects Already Underway for 2015 Season

The spectator side of Cordova International Raceway is already undergoing a make-over. Sections of the wooden bleachers located on the spectator side have been taken down to make room for a new aluminum hi-rise set of bleachers going up in the Spring. Power Enterprises of Davenport is spear-heading the project, along with the help of JF Miller Excavating and others, which will add 1500 seats to accommodate CIR's fans. "We're really excited to start working on improvements at the track," said Bobbi Jo Cox, GM, "It's great to see all the new things that are coming in." Work on the project will continue for the next few weeks and be completed in Spring, 2015.
